HOTEL MISSONI EDINBURGH
Located just off the Royal Mile in historic Edinburgh is Hotel Missoni, inspired and designed by the Italian fashion house. The understated yet modern exterior is a contrast from the hotel entrance, with floor to ceiling black and white mosaic vases in the window fronts. In the Lobby there is a life size reel of thread with the signature Missoni colours and the Bar brightens the entry level with a burst of aqua. The hip area has design in mind with wall prints of the moon, chrome pendant lighting and fuchsia bar stools. We ordered a tea, coffee and a side of Zucchini fritte for a light snack. The coffee is recommended if you are after a quality cup and the tableware is divine, where can I order some of my own? Visiting the stylish hotel twice during our city stay, we found the Bar service friendly and it was a relaxing escape for quality refreshments away from the bustling Royal Mile.
