In hotels you always wonder what brand the amenities will be, hopefully something a bit different and a touch of luxe. During a stay at Spicers Vineyards Estate, glancing around the luxurious ensuite your eyes are drawn to the beautiful APPELLES amenities presented on a petit wood display. The Spicers selection consisted of the Wheat Protein Shampoo, Planifolia Conditioner, Comfrey Hand & Body Wash, Vitamin B5 Skin Lotion and a couple of the deliciously fragrant Rosemary Body Bars. I usually gravitate to a body wash, soap and body lotion during a hotel stay or sneak away those items to sample if the stay is shorter and for a little reminder about the trip.

The Australian designed skin care and bath range is a real delight. Created with organic oils, some products have scents unique to Australia like eucalyptus, sandalwood and lemon myrtle that showcase the natural element vision of APPELLES.

APPELLES

After the Spicers stay I was treated to a premium pack of the featured and upcoming APPELLES products. The attention to detail extends to the gift box, highlighting the goodies I was about to sample and even personalised with my name. Upon opening, the Rosemary Body Bar again tickled the senses with the aroma infusing the gift box. Two other things to be thankful for when treating your body, the range is animal cruelty free and almost all of the on trend packaging is biodegradable.

One of my favourites is the Vitamin B5 Skin Lotion that magically disappears once applied (speedy application is a must with any lotion in my cabinet!) and has savoury hints of mandarin and cinnamon. For a relaxing evening in the tub, who wouldn’t love an accompaniment of caviar? The Vitamin B3 Bath Caviar is a luxe take on bath infusions and the tiny glittery beads are a seductive mix, with a sweet musk on the surface that ends with a dash of spice from the bold Patchouli.
