COCKTAILS WITH A VIEW AT THE SALON DE NING – THE PENINSULA HOTEL

While shopping on Fifth Avenue, a salesman kindly told us about Salon de Ning, after asking for recommendations on chic venues for a pre-dinner cocktail. Located at The Peninsula hotel in Midtown, the rooftop lounge and bar has a glimpse of Central Park and is surrounded by New York’s skyscrapers. Salon de Ning is inspired by a fictional story around a well travelled and possibly sultry, Madame Ning. Inside Salon it was reasonably busy shortly after opening time, but we managed to secure a seat on the terrace to enjoy the summer sunset. This was a perfect location to chill after a day of shopping and although popular, it felt more like New Yorkers and business people who retreated to this hip lounge and bar.
